| | | Roundtable discussion: Access to justice for recruitment-related abuses, 7 July, 9:30 - 11:30 (CEST) | | | | |
|---|
| | | | | | | | For millions of workers around the world, recruitment is the first step towards securing decent work. For migrant workers, as the first stage in the migration process, the conditions of recruitment can set the tone for the migration experiences and development outcomes of the worker. Recruitment of migrant workers should be conducted in a way that respects, protects and fulfils internationally recognized human rights. When these rights are violated, workers must have the right to access justice and to seek effective remedy. Join a panel of global experts and practitioners from the fields of research, human rights and legal aid, the private sector and workers' organizations to learn more about the ILO's latest research findings and explore practical tools and approaches. The meeting will be held in English and French. Register here. More information here | | |
